Your Story

PITS needs your help! Whilst your experience will be unique to you, there are some storms that effect others too. Sometimes, realising you’re not the only one can empower you to stand up for what’s right. Sometimes your experience can fill in the gaps of others’ or add weight to their cause. We want to build bigger pictures of how certain issues create challenging storms for people, with the hope that many voices coming together may be heard more powerfully than one.

So, if you’re experiencing a life storm or have experienced one in the past, then your story is valuable to us, even if you don’t need our support right now (if you do need support, please contact us here). You can share your story with us, using the form below. We need your email address to verify the story is genuine and confirm we’ve received it, plus a general location (first half of postcode) to be able to connect it with other stories. If you wish to share your story anonymously then you can choose to do this by leaving the name and phone details blank. We can use anonymous stories to help us understand the bigger picture in order to best support people going through similar storms but please be aware that if you remain anonymous, we won’t be able to use your story any further than that, in respect of informing change on a larger scale. So if you do feel able to share your name and details with us then this will strengthen any challenges we’re able to put forward to organisations. We’ll always check with you first though if we think it would be helpful to share your story with anyone.
